Flag reverence or defilement just doesn't seem the same here. i'm a person first and i don't see any occasion for patriotism Ginger Spice can wear the Union Jack without causing complaint except for inadequacy and it hurts me to see that. and I could probably go and burn one in Parliament Square, i can't tell you of all the flags i spot here and there, and the ribbons and well as long as I don't take a camera crew or try to set fire to myself too. they are collecting in my head. but in general i see these as grave decor No one would bat an eyelid at lighting up our red white and blue. the death of class and integrity and respectful showing of genuineness There's jingoism but I don't feel obliged to pledge anything to a flag. it's like a covering, hiding what's really under there |
